Creating a HTML signature is easy if you follow these steps…

As a business, sharing tips and knowledge from over 15 years in business is something we like to do. One of our tutorials that we share with employees on their first day, right after setting up their email address, is an in-house tutorial as how you can adda a HTML signature in Apple Mail so that the company’s logo appears in a message and not as an attachment file.

Step 1

Download BBedit HTML software.

Step 2

Open Mail and create a temp signature. Close Mail.

Step 3

Find the temp signature.

Click Go to

‎⁨Macintosh HD⁩ ▸ ⁨Users⁩ ▸ yourusername ▸ ⁨Library⁩ ▸ ⁨Mail⁩ ▸ ⁨V6⁩ ▸ ⁨MailData⁩ ▸ ⁨Signatures

Step 4

Open the Temp Signature in BBEDIT and use your HTML skills to create your signature (or download our template here and paste into this temp signature).

Step 5

Once happy. Find the temp signature file (now you’re real signature file), and lock the file so Apple Mai lcan’t change it.

Step 6

Re-open and test!
